Tree's

Avocado's

Yield

Twice a year the big tree will yield Avocados!

Watering

Avocados tree's don't need a lot of water. You can pretty much leave the big tree alone, but the smaller one's along the fence may need a little water if the soil gets too dry. If you see the tips of the leaves dying, that means it's getting too much water.

Moles

There are Moles in the backyard. They're bad news. They make tunnels and eat the roots of the Avocado tree when there is fruit on the ground. A net has been constructed around the tree in order to keep fruit from landing on the ground.

The goal is to keep Moles and Squirls from eating the fruit.

A trap is available. Extra Brownie Points if you can "terminate their command".

It's helpful to remove some of the fallen leaves caught in the net so the yard maintenance crew can clean them up.

Citrus Saplings (Lemon & Lime)

The lemon and lime tree's like water. Moist soil is good for them. The sprinklers usually provide a little water, but you can give them more water if they need it.
